Description
YOUR GREATEST LEGACY ISN’T WHAT YOU LEAVE TO YOUR GRANDCHILDREN. IT’S WHAT YOU LEAVE IN THEM.
Being a grandparent is more than a title. It’s an opportunity.
You have a unique place in the lives of your grandchildren, a place no one else can fill. You have stories they need to hear, wisdom they need to receive, and a faith they need to see lived out.
In Grandparenting On Purpose, Jim Wideman challenges grandparents to move from simply loving their grandchildren to intentionally influencing them for Jesus. With practical ideas, biblical wisdom, and lessons learned from decades of ministry and family life, Jim shows you how to make the years you have count.
YOU’LL DISCOVER HOW TO:
• See each grandchild as God sees them, uniquely designed, purpose-carrying, and in need of your specific voice
• Navigate boundaries with your adult children without losing your influence
• Transfer living faith rather than a family religion
• Use storytelling, technology, and everyday moments as tools for legacy
• Leave something in your grandchildren that will outlast you by generations
Each chapter includes a Reflection and Application section to help you activate what you read. Plus, more than fifty Prayers to pray over your kids and grandkids.
